It was great to see CBC Boys representing six decades of alumni come together in the Emmanuel Centre Monday 3rd May to reconnect and reminisce at this year’s CBC Catch-Up.

Many of the boys who came along, had also been in attendance at the End of an Era celebrations in 1990 when the boys farewelled CBC Warrnambool and marked the beginning of the Emmanuel College journey.

We were particularly pleased to welcome back Brian Kermond, who attended CBC during the 40s, and was happy to make the round trip from Melbourne on the night. Amazing effort from one of our oldest alumni!

Guest speakers Shaun, Patrick, Simon, Adam and Paul Ryan interviewed by Greg Kelson, kept the boys entertained with stories of their school years and the careers that followed for each of them.

We were also pleased to welcome to the event four previous Inspiring Alumni inductees - David Atkinson, Fr Barry Ryan, Laurie Gleeson and of course, guest speaker Shaun Ryan.

Fantastic to see all the boys from across the generations of CBC coming along. We’ll see you all again next year on May 2!
