Delma Clapp Community Services Award Scholarship

Emmanuel College is the beneficiary of funds from the family of the late Mrs Delma Clapp who was a teacher at St. Ann’s and Emmanuel Colleges from 1966-1991. The Delma Clapp Community Services Award Scholarship is awarded to one student currently in Year 9 and enrolled to complete Year 10.

The scholarship is for a student whose family experiences financial need and the student is committed to their community demonstrated through acts of community service to one or more of the following groups: hospitals, nursing homes, service clubs, opportunity shops, affiliated church groups, Holiday Actors or performing arts groups. Involvement with and support for these groups must be an ongoing commitment

Value: $1,000 credited towards tuition fees for the following year.

Criteria:

• All round academic endeavour
• Participation in a range of extra-curricular activities offered by the College
• Active support of the College vision including ongoing commitment to community service
• Financial need
