Like a fire that ignites other fires, each time we acknowledge the achievements of one individual, we inspire another. This was the rationale behind the establishment of the Emmanuel College Inspiring Alumni in 2009. Since then thirty-three Alumni representing a wide range of achievements, careers and service to the community have been inducted and on 28 July seven new inductees will be recognised on the stage at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre at the Evening of Inspiration. Portraits of the Inspiring Alumni adorn the walls of the Emmanuel Centre and Emmanuel College junior students study and complete assignments on the inductees. Their stories will encourage and inspire generations of students to come.
