Abby O’Brien for being the driving force behind the reunion of the Class of 2012, getting word out to a huge cohort for a College tour and a social event.
On tour, the group were keen to see all the new developments that had occurred at Emmanuel in the past 10 years. The tour was a great ice-breaker for the group, allowing them to reminisce while catching up with classmates they had not seen in-person in a long time. They particularly enjoyed recalling how the redeveloped spaces looked and functioned only 10 short years ago, and finding their signatures upon the Year 12 image still adorning the walls of the Rice campus.
Events continued at the Whalers Hotel, where almost 50 alumni came together to share a laugh or two. - A great night out for all.
