About Philip Trigg

Philip Trigg teaches violin, cello, viola, piano and voice drawing on his 30 plus years of experience as a musician.  Philip skills centre in playing classical music, and he has been part of the south-west music scene for almost his entire adult life both playing and teaching music.  He was a founding member of the Cindy Lee Ensemble, and members of the Warrnambool String Quartet and The Robin Wright Strings.

Philip began learning piano during his school years under the tutelage of legendary local music teacher Miss McConachie, who encouraged him to broaden his musical interests beyond the piano.  This led Philip to his passion for the violin and cello.

Philip encourages all lovers of music to learn to play and believes it is never too late to start.  He is currently teaching students aged from 5 to over 80 years old, who love their lessons and the music they can make.
