Class of 1972 - Grand Final Gathering

Little Blue Restaurant, Brighton

Hello Class of 1972,

Last year, we organised a Grand Final eve lunch in Melbourne (Brighton) on the new Friday public holiday for a catch-up. It was pretty informal and very reasonably priced. Everyone there really enjoyed the catch-up.  There were about 14 in attendance, pretty much half and half from those living in Melbourne and those that came up in a mini-bus. Anyway, it seemed like such a good idea that those who came suggested we do it again.

So here it is. I have been talking to the people at Little Blue Restaurant, at the end of the very picturesque St Kilda Pier about a group of us for lunch on Friday 27 September. Again, it is very reasonably priced and you can check out their winter menu on their website littlebluerestaurant.com.au. However, they have asked for the possible maximum number attending so they can work out their catering, staffing and tables for the occasion.

I think we should make it open to all the men and women from the Class of 1972, regardless of whether they completed HSC, but not partners (unless they are one and the same!)  It would be really useful if you could let anyone else you are in contact with know about the lunch, or pass their details on to me.

If you are interested in attending, please let me know via Facebook or via Mobile (0418 788 523), before Friday 6 September.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
